Re: Good Morning!

@creative_writer  unless a psychologist has lived experience, the onus is on the patient.

Trying to explain myself to a psychologist with no lived experience, makes me feel like I’m being attacked all over again.

Re: Good Morning!

Just as a question .........What about organisations like at councils for a suburb ?!

I remember I worked at June O'Conner centre - but I wasn't ' qualified,'  - hey are too small to pay aren't they ??

Re: Good Morning!

🤣😂 going OK @Glisten , sore arm but that is it so far

Hello @creative_writer 😁, @PinkFlamingo

Re: Good Morning!

@Glisten I have only had one therapist who sort of indirectly implied that he had lived experience. I’m reading behind the lines in what with what he once said during a session. He understood how devastating it was to experience trauma. I never had any other therapist feel it that much. He had to breathe in and out when I told him.

How are you @Shaz51?

Re: Good Morning!

@tonys  Still love reading those tony. Those are really nice.

Re: Good Morning!

That's a beautiful picture of a Fungi @PeppyPatti

Hi @PinkFlamingo Thanks - Very good to know that you & others are holding hope with me.

Yes living alone impacts on a sense of Worthiness.

That's because many people (myself included) tend to measure our Self-Worth by how many connections (friends) we have, or by how deep those relationships are.

I've been a member of this Forum for 8 years - Sadly, I still struggle to feel "Worthy" enough to write a post.

Or fear that others will silence me, as soon as I write.

So there is still personal growth work to do...

I've done 10 Online Aged Care Modules today (Compulsory Job requirements) for my Gardening Job.

I still have 20 Aged Care Modules yet to do (complete).

Was too much, yet needed to get on top of it

Will be going straight to bed soon.

Yes I think it's important to take stock and ( mull over ) what we have achieved being in Sane Forums.

I dwell that - I left Sane forums because I wasn't using it properly before. I wasn't acting like I wanted to because of the huge stress I was under being married to poor ol' Mr Buddha -

I left out of anger and asked to delete me - never again

And in  hindsight I might have been writing @Appleblossom words which were  be gentle, be gentle but I wasn't being gentle with me.

I had to go away for over 10 years to learn it.

Today I'm learning how to stay strong in my messages - long way to go .....

In regard to connections - being strong, valuing ourselves you are so correct.

Who cares how many connections you have hey ??

I really like what @tyme  wrote that she only calls her parents 3-4 times a year. Iv always felt intimidated by my mum whenever she calls, I call her straight back causing me much anxiety. So today when my mother called I didn't answer or call her back. I feel stronger.

Thankyou for allowing me to be honest

It's better saying no than yes.

Re: Good Morning!

Haven't posted on here in a while as going through a hard patch

Have got a lovely psychologist now who specialises in a lot of different ways to help and are Holistic, there office is lovely with lots of candles, water fountains,  calming music and a special room full of lights little fairy garden with nice blankets of Buddha and similar with a table in the middle that you lay on for hypnosis. Which I've only had done once for 10minutes as ran out of time.

My last appointment was hard as my agraphobia and panic attacks are all back and I've had a couple of breakdowns at home and just feeling numb, so Don't know if my meds aren't working anymore and need to change them which I finally get to see my psychiatrist never t Wednesday at last to see what he can do to help, if it's not the meds then I have no idea what's going on but can't keep doing this anymore

@PeppyPatti @Adge @Tilz @creative_writer @Shaz51 @Glisten @PinkFlamingo @Tilz @Appleblossom

Hope you are all doing well

Re: Good Morning!

Dearest @creative_writer

Not really because I'm out of it.

I would love to read about how you cope.

I was very annoyed  for many years.

You are on 4 types of pills. That's crazy, can you let me know how do you remember to take ?

Iv got a plastic thing that has Monday to Sunday on them.

Your also doing your studies !!! Awesome. I feel my life just goes round and round in this little tiny circle.

I love that you want to be a representative.

Years and years ago, people in prison used to have their story posted on bus stop walls about what they did and what they wanted to do when they got out of prison.

I found it inspirational.....

Perhaps you can do something a bit more boundry like but as cool as that was .....
