@Birdofparadise8 being a sensitive person is not a bad thing, it's not negative. I too am a sensitive person. It just means that you are hyper aware of other people and their feelings and you're more likely to have empathy, and that you are kind and consider other people above yourself.
Don't take it as a negative hon, I'd rather be sensitive than thoughtless to other peoples' feelings.

Yeah that is true @ENKELI

@Birdofparadise8 what do you mean I said nothing of interest yesterday?
Yes the sensitive comment was definitely not meant as a negative.

@Birdofparadise8 thank you for the clarification.
I think the stuff that happened last year, especially with work and my dad made me feel as though I don't have anything worthwhile to contribute so I stay quiet.
In regards to the forum, when I'm in a really depressed mood nothing anyone says will help because like you I think I am worthless and better off not around, and I don't believe the good things that people say. It isn't until I'm feeling better when I re-read comments made about me that I feel like I’m worth anything and by then of course I’m already feeling better.
For me the forum is more a way to interact with other people so that I am not completely isolated so I guess that it is of benefit to me .

@Birdofparadise8 glad I finally made some sense!
Oh and good to hear your parents loved the carrot cake, I bet it was just the right mix of moist, sweet and crumbly.
I have 2 cats, Mal and Gypsy. Gypsy was mums' cat but she was lonely after mums' other cat passed away and Mal was lonely because he was used to my ex friends' cat as his playmate.
Mal is my emotional support animal. He knows when I am in a bad way and will stick by my side until I am better. He was rescued from a backyard breeder and is mostly ragdoll with some unknown breed thrown in. He ticks me off by meowing constantly for an hour before his dinner is due, walking in front of me and flopping down causing me to trip but I adore him.
Do you have any pets back in Tas?
