Hi there @Iamlost
Firstly, welcome to the forums. It's very brave to reach out in a new space. I hope you find it a really supportive and welcoming community.
I can hear that there is a lot swirling around your mind right now as you reflect on your experience with PTSD as a result of your childhood, while also coping with the person you live with being diagnosed with BPD, but not seeking any support for this.
It can understandably be challenging to witness someone struggling, while feeling powerless to support them. Particularly if this is impacting on your safety and wellbeing while at home.
I hear that you have to lock yourself in your room and it sounds like things might be not be feeling safe for you at home.
Your safety is so important, so please don't hesitate to reach out to 000 if you find yourself wanting some emergency support.
I am sure some forum members will be along shortly to provide you with some support on this topic!
