The orthopaedic specialist I saw last week, did suggest I give the spinal nerve root injections another go. Even though it provided minimal and very short lived relief last time. It could be more effective second time around. 

The specialist I saw last week said I need a three level lumbar spinal fusion. As I am not keen to do that, he said a spinal decompression surgery would be next best.

@Emelia8  I hope that if you take the option of the spinal nerve root injection, that it helps for longer this time.

Also that it becomes clear for you what to do about the 2 other operations.

I'm thinking about my time away I had so looked forward to...

I think I'll go, but arrive Friday instead of tomorrow. My friends concerned I might be bored as she's not feeling the best. Bored sounds perfect to me!!!! I'll pack my diamond painting and overdue books to read and if she needs a rest I'll do that. Respite and the her company will be like liquid gold I think and I'm hoping it will be for her too.
