I am a mum of 2 young children. Since my first child o have struggled with PPD. It’s seemed to have continued into PP with my second child. I really struggle with controlling my anger with my children. These days even the slightest thing triggers me and I get set off. I know I need help I just can’t bring myself to it. Please help me with ways to control my emotions.

Hello @Crazymumof2 and welcome to the forums.
Well done for sharing here and reaching out for support, that takes alot of strength.
Having kids is tough and they are really great at pushing our buttons. We are only human so it's natural that at times we get triggered and set off. Have you got things that help to calm you down, any activities that you enjoy doing? Remember it's always ok to step away into another room and take a breather for yourself. Have you thought about having a chat to a gp and getting a referral to see a psychologist/counsellor? It could be really helpful to learn some strategies to help in managing those tough emotions. There's so many different options out there such as distractions, meditation, breathing exercises, grounding techniques etc. It's just a matter of finding what works for you.
Please know that you are not alone and we are here for you.
Be kind and gentle with yourself, sending you hugs ❤️

Hey @Crazymumof2 welcome. So glad you found this space, it sounds like you've been facing some really challenging times. First off all I wanna just say, this does not make you a bad mum. I know you didn't say so, so maybe that's not how you're feeling, but I know it to be an incredibly common feeling for people struggling with PPD.
Have you heard of PANDA? Perinatal Anxiety & Depression Australia - they might be able to help you in figuring out some steps to getting support.
We are here to support you through this too ofc 💜 You're welcome to share as much or as little as you are comfy! Glad to have you in the community 😊
