You were right about exercise being same as practising a new skill. 

I started slow and easy and now exercise regularly. 

Getting stronger everyday. Its helping my recovery and confidence.

You have helped me, thank you for posting this, in the thread which I knew nothing of?
I have very bad Anxiety, from Chronic pain, & Major Surgery Last year this time. I am very healthy, am a Vegetarian, love what I eat. Live a non hassle life style very natural living. Fit not over weight. Operation 100% went well. I was told that I am a MIRACLE, by Staff at the Hospital after Operation going so well, not expected by Neuro Surgery Team!
But, am without Motivation now, my mind wants to, but my body just wants to sleep, rest, not depressed?
Anxiety when people get angry, loud, unkind, hurt animals, hurt children, do seriously damaging things to self, or others. I try & keep to myself to avoid conflict, or taking my Peace, JOY, anything I have & love away, within, or around me.
Pain is Chronic in many of my body parts, had accident & my body looks ok yet inside is not ok?
My mind is very strong & good, yet my heart is so tender, so soft?
Anyway, that may not have anything to do with why I have no motivation? I have had too long with Chronic Pain & some Limitations. I love walking, weight training, floor exercises. I love Dancing so much, this has been taken from me & I have lots of Exercise Equipment here at home. Some still new unused yet?
I was very active, now just have energy for my animals whom I adore, & rescued from termination. They are so happy & my happiness! 🙂
For my health I need my motivation back, any other Ideas plz?

For inspiration, I follow our Paralympians and Challenged Athletes Foundation.

I noticed if I exercise in the morning, I tend to have more energy. 

Also, just start at your own pace. Do it gradually. Be patient with your self.

80% is Diet, 20% is Exercise. Make sure you sleep well. 

Some times I have no motivation, so i take the day off. 

Be kind to yourself.

I have terrible lack of peaceful sleep 😞
Too much stress in my past. When body is under gr8 stress breathing is no good while sleeping. I hyperventilate & have very bad dreams wake up lost my bearings & takes some tome to get my equilibrium back ?? Causes Anxiety morning is bad time for me now!! No support no nice & good human company only have Internet & only visit Sane, I was MHW until accident caused this Muddled life now! 😞
