@Bow  sounds like an intense session, but a useful one. It's wonderful that you have that space to be safe to talk about those things and feel understood. I hope you have a minimal effort weekend ahead so you can just chill and process and stuff.

Just feel at the end of my tether.

Cancer diagnosis and surgery just on 12 months ago. Followed by radiation and checkups. Husband dying under traumatic circumstances in April. Me being in severe pain and sleep deprived since May. Now being told by a specialist today that I need spinal surgery. And my dear little dog Holly, the only thing I have left in this shitty life, has been diagnosed with a tumour in her sinuses. Nothing the vets can do. She is all I have left and she is now considered palliative. My Mum died 2 years ago. My dad is going downhill rapidly after several amputations due to bone infections. Now it appears more are needed. When will it stop? I dont think I can keep doing any of this.

@Emelia8  that is such an immense amount of heartbreak and sorrow to have to endure. I know there are no words that could possibly take away the grief you are feeling. I do hope it helps, even a little, to know that I have deepest empathy for you. I also hope that in sharing, you are able to feel... a little lighter, or at least held in this space. If there's one thing I know about this community, it is that there is an immense amount of love and care that we all feel for each other, especially in times of grief and loss.
