Wow five @RiverSeal
They must be rich hahahha. My ticket cost $600, lol.
Not really I had some freezer meals that mum cooked when she was here. I'm very poor at the moment.
You wouldn't belive I had a job interview for a diabtes center at one of the hospitals in the city and I didn't get the job as someone who used to work there replied. So, I'm back to square one again. If she hadn't applied, I would have gotten the job.
Taylor Swift was so good. That's how I got covid. Loved every minute.
I don't know why my thinking has been so negative at night time a lot more. It's really hard.

Yeah, I didn't ask how much it cost but I presume it cost a bit @Birdofparadise8. I have never been to a concert, so I didn't even think about going. I don't know whether I would spend that much but I'll think about it if I ever get the opportunity again.
Have you ever thought of going to a food parcel place? I used to use some when I wasn't working, and I had to show my DSP card and there may be ones for students too. It's not a bad way to get more food choices.
Sorry to hear about the job, that would have been a good job for you. It's part of the process though and sometimes we don't get jobs for various reasons. I like to get back on the horse after a few days and look out for something else. Have you completed a Seek profile or have LinkedIn? Seek found the job a SANE for me because I notified me that I may be a strong candidate for the role because I have my profile completed.
Intrusive thoughts can be challenging to cope with and if you keep throwing coping skills at it and can identify why you get them you can overcome them in time. What do you do when you feel like this? When we acknowledge that we are feeling in a particular way or are having thoughts we can then make decision on what to do about it.

It's okay. Mum is giving me money for food. I want to use these meals up because she is coming back in a couple of weeks and wants to cook more.
Yeah, I have both of them.
I try anything to distract myself, but it can be hard when I get overwhelmed.
I'm not sure if they are all intrusive thoughts. Some of them are so core beliefs about myself that I can't rationalise. @RiverSeal

Oh, quick side note. I think one of my roommates might have undiagnosed ADHD, but I've only known her a couple weeks and I don't want to step on any toes.
Would you have any advice on how to go about it? Like I can see so many signs in her.

It's up to you if you want to say something or not and think about what reactions she might have @Birdofparadise8. She may not like you diagnosing her, and it could cause some issues between you and her. Or she might know and be grateful you picked up on it and want to talk about it. Who knows really how she will respond but I think you would need to be prepared for the worst and hope for the best.
You could create a conversation about MH and see how she feels about people who have MH issues to gauge her possible reactions maybe.
What do you think?

Core beliefs can be changed if you want to change them, and they are not necessarily true just because you believe them. We can have negative views of ourselves, and it can be helpful to see ourselves through other people's eyes. I know it can be hard when you feel alone and isolated, but it could be something to work on over time @Birdofparadise8.
They say that connection is the opposite of addiction and believe that connection can be the opposite of some of what we experience with MH. I have made connection my main coping technique and I don't get anywhere near the negative thoughts I used to get. What do you think about that @Birdofparadise8?
